Why not five stars? This is the most relaxing "coffee, pastries, sandwiches" spot in our area. Great atmosphere, if you can get a table! This coffee house on Halsey is so popular. Come on over, have an iced mocha, enjoy a scrumptious pastry or breakfast sandwich and relax with family and friends. Baristas do their best to get orders out with a smile and quickly, too!

I have a love hate relationship with Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop. First of all parking is never an issue, as there's a large parking lot here. Then there's plenty of seating inside with many different types of seating arrangements. On top of that they have delicious food and even more delicious treats. They are friendly enough but with a bit of a snooty attitude (just a bit...). Having said all that, oftentimes it's very hard to find a good table. And the dirty dishes trees are almost always full. So, why the love hate relationship... frankly I don't know .

Lumberjack Latte for the win. Sweet but not too sweet. Their regular house blend is super smooth. Cinnamon roll was so good. That frosting! The bacon jalapeño quiche. Delicious!

I was in the area and decided to treat myself to a beverage and I am so glad I picked them . The first thing I liked was that there was plenty of parking. The space is big and there is plenty of seating : chairs, bar stools, and couches and some of it is also communal where you might share a couch with another patron. I was feeling a bit peckish and got a pumpkin chocolate muffin along with my drink. I am not big on pumpkin flavors and generally find them too sugary. The muffin did taste a tad bit too sweet for my preference but the addition of chocolate just somehow toned it down despite contrary logic . The staff is nice but I found the interaction a bit stiff . Prices seemed fair for both the quality and quantity.
